The 27th edition of the International Exhibition for Equipment, Technologies, Raw Materials and Ingredients for the Food Processing Industry – Agroprodmash 2022 – is a landmark and highly anticipated event of the year for food manufacturers and food machinery companies.
Interest in Agroprodmash grows every year. Industry professionals, directors of food businesses and investors have a perfect opportunity to assess the current range of Russian and foreign-made products, as well as to hold negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and ingredients, all in just five days and under one roof.
A lot has changed in the industry in 2022. Right now we have to find new vectors of development. The focus is on food security and cost optimisation.

Show highlights
This year Agroprodmash will welcome 216 Russian manufacturers, 34 of them being newcomers. They will present interesting new products developed in Russia: Russia's first meat filler for the canning industry, equipment for professional chocolatiers, detergents for dairy membranes and new equipment, equipment for dairy products manufacturing, an improved version of the Puma 2 horizontal packaging machine, a lightweight 26 m3 semi-trailer tanker, premium equipment and components for beverage production, the AQUA COOL water cooler, various brands of a modern construction material called caprolon, a cake assembly line, chillers for air conditioning systems, and many more.
Visitors will be able to see the equipment in operation, learn about new technologies and receive detailed advice. Technicians and company managers will be on hand to discuss technical, commercial and equipment selection options. They will also advise on prices and possible cooperation.
Agroprodmash is organised according to the showroom principle, which makes the show highly efficient for both exhibitors and visitors.
All 19 product sectors are on show this year.
APM MeatTech and APM PoultryTech are a landmark for Agroprodmash. They dominate in terms of the number of exhibitors and have the richest showcases. This year, they will be located in Pavilion No.2 (Halls 1, 2, 3) and will present the latest meat processing equipment, technologies and related materials from Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Czechia, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Spain, the UK, and the USA.
There is no doubt that Russian companies will be of particular interest: Antes, Deft, MP-Technologies (Kaliningrad), Agros, TVS-Mekhanics, NHL, SKT, Bosk Plus, Plant Aggregate, Initsiativa MNPP, KB Technology, Besteq-Engineering, Russkaya Bronya, Saratov Food Machinery Plant, PPTK, Konstanta-T, Fornax Engineering Company, etc. Relevant regional authorities support participation of Orenklip, Unity-Engineering, OK-Engineering, OM-Holding, Design Experimental Enterprise Variator Laboratory, Rus-Industry, as well as companies exhibiting within regional pavilions of Tver and Voronezh Oblasts, and Altai and Krasnodar Krais.
APM Casings has grown. Key participants, which include major Russian manufacturers, are Atlantis-Pak, ZVT, Logo-Trade, Edelweiss, ProMart, Rosnet, LML & Co, TechnoClip, Agro-Casing, Bizon, Bontrade, Crocusbel, Pack-Casing, etc. They present the latest developments in natural and artificial casings, bags, nets and other high-performance materials for sausage production.
Another leading sector is APM Ingredients. This year it occupies two pavilions: No.3 and No.7 (Halls 3, 4, 5) and brings together about 80 companies from 21 countries.
This year, there is a high turnout of exhibitors. Companies will present an extended range of ingredients for all areas of food processing, including the meat, dairy, confectionery and beverage industries. The visitors will see ingredients of the leading brands from Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, and Poland. For the first time, food ingredient suppliers from India and Iran are taking part in the show.
The stands of dynamically developing Russian companies receive well-deserved attention at Agroprodmash. Over the past decade and a half, they have both established their own import channels and mastered the production of a wide range of additives, flavour mixtures, functional preparations and other types of ingredients in demand in various sectors of the food and processing industries. Key exhibitors include Omega Group, Krist, Ochakovsky Plant of Food Ingredients, Professional Biotechnologies, Ecoresource, Ecocolor, Bioline, Rustark, PTI Group, and Consul. The show will also introduce a number of new exhibitors, including manufacturers.
About 100 companies will exhibit at APM SweetTech and APM Bakery in Pavilion No.8 (Halls 1, 2). They come from Czechia, Germany, Italy, Russia, Turkey, and Switzerland.
The exhibitors will be demonstrating spiral mixers, stand mixers, convection ovens, rotary ovens, pizza ovens, depositing machines for various kinds of biscuits, icing lines, biscuit cutters, complete industrial solutions for bakeries and industrial baking lines. Key exhibitors are Voskhod (Saratov), Dito-Group (Moscow Oblast), Sverdlovsk Experimental Mechanical Plant, Nizhegorodsky Khleb, Divo Equipment (Nizhniy Novgorod), Russkaya Trapeza (Saint Petersburg), Gostol-Technopool, Abat, MAKIZ URAL, Buhler AG office in Russia, Copvest (an official representative of Mimac Italia srl in Russia), Air-Bake, and Anton Ohlert. There are more companies from Turkiye this year (Van Meer, Memak Makine, Alke Machinery, Keskin Makina, and Zeki Sahin). They will mainly present equipment for confectionery and chocolate production.
APM Packaging will be located in the Forum Pavilion and will bring together more than 80 participants, including well-known Russian manufacturers, as well as companies from Austria, Belarus, Germany, Italy, Japan, Turkey, and the UK. A number of major foreign manufacturers of packaging equipment and materials will demonstrate their solutions. Among them are Bizerba, ILPRA, IMA, G. Mondini, OPAK Makine, Polo Handels, and Yamato Scale. Besides, the foreign part of Agroprodmash is traditionally supported by the largest Russian system integrators and engineering companies, which implement projects using the equipment of world manufacturers.
The stands of the leading Russian manufacturers of packaging equipment and materials will be of particular interest. They include Tauras-Fenix, Label Group, Integral Plus, Forintek STC, Basis, Signal-Pack, IPlast, Georg Polymer, Sealed Air Kaustik, Amata Scale, PolyER, Ostpack, Protectpack, Holding Protek, etc. As a result, the visitors will receive detailed information on innovations in global packaging machinery, as well as domestic solutions.
APM DairyTech, APM Bottling and APM DrinkMash, which will also be accommodated in the Forum Pavilion, will bring together some 70 exhibitors. They include well-known Russian manufacturers, as well as companies from Belarus, Germany, Italy, India, the Netherlands, Spain, and Turkey. Equipment will be presented by companies such as Kieselmann Rus, Slavutich, Gigamash, Kropotkin Plant MISSP, Zavod Molochnyh Machin, Pishmashservice, Profitex, Zond-Pak, Altervia, Tsvet, Effitechnika, Avis, Inoxpa, Fibosa, NETZSCH Tula, SN packaging machines, etc.
Different representatives of the dairy industry will get acquainted with equipment for dairy plants, complete lines for dairy plants, individual machines and units, tank and pipeline equipment, lab systems and solutions for quality control and food safety, hygiene and sanitation, packaging solutions and automation for the dairy industry, as well as flavourings, starters and supplementary cultures for the production of fermented dairy products.
APM Automation Solutions, APM Food Hygiene, APM Refrigeration, APM FruitMash, etc., will also have interesting showcases.
Conference programme
The event of the Agroprodmash 2022 conference programme will focus on anti-crisis solutions, alternative supply chains, raw materials and ingredients, as well as industry prospects and measures of state support for Russian food machinery manufacturers.

The first master class in vegetable fermentation (11 October, 12.00–13.30, Pavilion No.7, Hall 5, Stand 75Â70) will be organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with its scientific partner Russian Research Institute of Canning Technology – the Branch of the Gorbatov Federal Research Center for Food Systems of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Other interesting events are master classes of the Bread Baking Academy of the Russian State Scientific Research Institute of Baking Industry (11-14 October, Pavilion No.8, Hall 4, Stand 84À10) and the Show of the Best Professional Meat Boners (13 October, 12.00, Pavilion No.7, Hall 5, Stand 75Â70).
There will be the Counselling Centre for Refrigeration Technology (Pavilion No.2, Hall 2, Stand 22Å18) and the Counselling Centre of the Food Ingredients Producers Union (Pavilion No.7, Hall 3, Stand 73Â90).
The Employment Centre will give the Agroprodmash participants and visitors consultations on the labour market (Pavilion No.8, Hall 5, Stand 85À01).
